TotalEnergies AERO 80 is a premium mineral oil designed for the lubrication of piston engines operating under severe conditions where the use of an oil containing a dispersant additive is not required. This makes it ideal for both general lubrication and the run-in of piston engines. AERO 80 meets stringent specifications and technical instructions, including J-1966 SAE Grade 40, AIR 3560/D Grade SAE 40, Joint Service Designation OM-170, and Continental Motors SIL16-2, M-0. Its formulation ensures excellent natural resistance to oxidation, a very low pour point for effective performance in colder conditions, and a high viscosity index for stability across various temperatures.
Key Features:
Pure Mineral Oil: Contains no additives except for a small quantity of pour-point depressant and an antioxidant.
Oxidation Resistance: Offers excellent natural resistance to oxidation for prolonged engine protection.
Low Pour Point: Effective in cold conditions, ensuring reliable lubrication.
High Viscosity Index: Maintains performance stability across a wide temperature range.
