Optima Marine 154 is a top-quality marine diesel crankcase lubricant designed to meet the demanding needs of modern marine engines. It is formulated with highly refined base oils and a specialized additive package, resulting in a product with exceptional film strength and a Total Base Number (TBN) of 15. Optima Marine 154 is recommended for the lubrication of medium and high-speed trunk type marine diesel engines operating on fuels containing at least 1% sulfur. Its alkaline properties neutralize acidic combustion products, preventing engine corrosion and ensuring long service life. While ideally suited for modern trunk piston engines with low oil consumption, Optima Marine 154 is also compatible with older engine designs.
