Excelquench 601 Straight Mineral Oil Based Quench Oil:
Excelquench 601 is a premium straight mineral oil-based quench oil, expertly formulated with highly refined paraffinic oil for general-purpose quenching applications. Designed to achieve optimal hardness in steel by controlling the cooling process, this quench oil ensure slow heat removal during the vapor stage and rapid heat removal during the vapor transport stage. This helps minimise distortion and promote uniform cooling.

Excelquench 601 is ideal for quenching steels such as EN1a, EN32, EN36, EN37, set screws, and hardened bolts in EN8, EN9, EN15, EN19, and EN111. The recommended operating temperature for the oil bath is between 25°C and 80°C.
