Instant WD is particularly useful in the maintenance of electrical equipment. The de-watering properties are such that insulation is restored promptly on the application of a spray to areas that have become coated with water or moisture. This applies to electric motors, dynamos, alternators, starters, solenoids and switch gear in general. Instant WD has been found to be extremely helpful in restoring efficient operation to equipment that has even been flooded. It is also useful for the treatment of components that have been machined with water based fluids, preferably after rinsing with clean water, when emulsions are involved.
